My pastel drawings are a very personal aspect of my work. I see them as poetry for the eyes, and just as a poet bares their soul into the written word, I bare mine into strokes, shades, and the world around me. Plein Air is my main focus, but I create/touch up some pieces in the studio as well. When I'm gone, these works will be a map of my time here, both in the artistic and physical sense. These works depict where I have been, what I have seen, and what I was personally moved by.
